“We had a wonderful stay at Ian’s house in Balmaqueen. The location is excellent, the perfect starting point to some of the most spectacular hikes and sites; also nearby are a few nice cafes for lunch, and Portree is only 30-40 minutes’ drive (a most scenic one). The house is fantastic; it is obvious that the owners put a lot of thought and care into the remodelling. The bedrooms are modern, comfortable and cosy, and the new lounge offers beautiful views of the hills and the sea. The pictures cannot possibly do it justice.
