Luxury self-catering cottages on the Isle of Skye, Scotland

The Byre was finished in summer 2019, providing a luxury, self-catering cottage for guests.  It sleeps up to 4 people, with one upstairs (twin) and one downstairs (king) bedroom each with their own en-suite.  The Byre has been furnished to a high standard. It has received a 5 star accommodation rating from VisitScotland, the highest possible rating.  There is a fast electric vehicle charger and plenty of parking spaces next to the cottage.  Wi-fi delivers full fibre broadband.  In the utility there is a washing machine, heated dryer, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board.

The ground floor is flat and wheelchair friendly, with wide, sliding door openings.

Upstairs there is a twin bedded room with window seats and an en-suite with Villeroy & Boch bath, WC and basin

Outside there is a sheltered, south facing patio area to catch the sun. It overlooks pasture at the north end of the Trotternish Ridge. At the front of The Byre, there is a large decking area. It has seating for four. This area looks out to the sea.

All bedding, fluffy towels and dressing gowns are provided, together with complimentary toiletries.  In the kitchen, foil, cling film, greaseproof paper, freezer bags, dishwasher and washing machine detergent and cupboard items are provided.  Store cupboard items include herbs, spices, salad dressing, sauces, chutneys, tea, coffee and sugar.
